Kabianga boys see off Menengai boys to win the 2024 Rift Valley Prescott Cup

Kabianga Boys High School are the 2024 Rift Valley Region Prescott Cup Champions after a 13-00 win over Menengai Boys High School. 

Kabianga who started their run with a narrow 05-07 loss against Koelel Boys and suffering another drastic 21-03 loss over Menengai Boys,  staged a smooth run on day 2 to bag the title. 

In the second day of the encounter,  Kabianga came in hot, managing a narrow 08-06 win over Nakuru High before they registered a dominant 28-00 win over Utumishi Boys Academy.

Menengai Boys’ run for the title was only cut shot in the finals despite having a winning streak from day one, a 21-03 win over Kabianga and a 33-03 win over neighbors Nakuru High in day one. 

On the second day,  Menengai managed another 23-03 win over Koelel forces and another 31-03 win over Utumishi Boys to book their semi final spot. 

In the semi finals,  Kabianga managed a narrow 16-15 win over St. Anthony’s Boys Kitale to book their finals spot and Menengai went high to manage a 38-14 win over Nakuru High. 

St.Anthony’s Kitale managed to bag the third place trophy after securing a narrow 14-12 win over Nakuru High School.
