National 7s Circuit Division II Standings ahead of Prinsloo 7s

Kabarak University are leading the National 7s Circuit Division II standings ahead of the Prinsloo 7s, having broken their losing streak in the finals at the Mombasa Driftwood 7s.

The Nakuru-based team had struggled to win the finals in Kakamega Ingo, Dala and Kabeberi before finally claiming the Driftwood 7s title.

Despite earning promotion to Division I after the last leg of the circuit, Kabarak University remains atop the Division II standings with 87 points, securing their title as Division II champions.

NYS Spades are in second place with 64 points, trailing Kabarak, while Nairobi-based Zetech Oaks sit in third with 61 points.

Embu RFC hold fourth place with 57 points and has impressed this season, reaching all the quarterfinals.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

Northern Suburbs are in fifth place with 50 points, tied with sixth-placed AP Warriors. TUM Marines, the first coastal team on the log, are seventh with 40 points.

Sigalagala and MKU Thika are tied in eighth and ninth places with 34 points each, ahead of JKUAT Cougars, who are tenth with 28 points.

In eleventh place is Stallions Rugby, who spent the season in Division I and have 22 points.

Mean Machine are twelfth with 19 points, just above Ngong Warriors in thirteenth with 18 points.

Former Division I side Homeboyz Rugby is in 14th, tied with Tororo RFC and USIU Academy, each with 17 points.

Western-based Mbale RFC are with 15 points, ahead of KCA University, who are 18th with 14 points.

Shamberere TTI, Homabay RFC, and MKU Nairobi are tied with 13 points each, placing them ahead of Makueni and Dedan Kimathi University, who are last with 10 points.
