Impala RFC is set to defend their title at the Prinsloo 7s, as the pools for the women’s competition have been announced.
As the final leg of the National 7s Circuit, every team will be bringing their best game, with the title within reach for those who can rise to the occasion.
Prinsloo 7s Women Pools
The reigning champions will compete in Pool A against Ruck It Rugby, Western Spears, and debutants NYS-Gilgil, as they aim to maintain dominance and secure their spot at the top of the standings.
In Pool B, last year’s runners-up Mwamba RFC, currently second on the log, will face Kenya Harlequin, Meru Ladies, and the Ground Shakers.
Mwamba will be aiming to close the gap between them and Impala, with a six-point deficit (44 to 38) making their task challenging but not impossible.
Host team Nakuru RFC will fight to protect their home turf in Pool C, going up against Kabarak University women, also making their debut, alongside Northern Suburbs and NYS Spades.

Nakuru currently sits at the bottom of the standings and will be looking to boost their points tally and defend their home pride.
Impala leads the circuit standings, but with Mwamba in close pursuit, the pressure is on for the defending champions to perform in Nakuru.
