Mongers secured a 10-5 win over Kakira Simbas as hosts Mbale Elephants managed to win 17-12 over Njeru Hurricanes.

In the first match of the main cup quarters, Heathens humbled Warriors 26-00 as Hippos managed to beat Buffaloes 07-05 in an exciting encounter.
Kobs defeated Rhinos 10-05 while Black Pirates secured a 28-00 win over Rams in the last quarterfinal.
Later in the afternoon Hippos will face Heathens as Pirates Lock horns with Kobs in the main cup semifinals.
