For the first time this season, MMUST have advanced to the semifinals after a thrilling sudden-death victory over Catholic Monks.

The match ended 7-7 at halftime, and after both teams scored unconverted tries in the second half to make it 12-12, MMUST secured the win in extra time.

Menengai Oilers, who missed out on the Kakamega Ingo 7s semifinals, have made it to the Cup semis after defeating Nondies 12-5.

Dennis Abukuse scored both tries for the Oilers in a match that saw them bounce back impressively.

Kenya Harlequin demonstrated their dominance by eliminating Dala 7s holders KCB Rugby with a 12-5 victory.

The match was briefly interrupted due to an injury to Leon Nyang but resumed with Quins quickly scoring through Alvin Khavoli. KCB equalized with a try from Samuel Asati, but Quins’ Brian Ratila scored again, and Amon Wamalwa’s conversion secured the win.
