The second day of the Kakamega Ingo 7s Division II was off to a flying start with teams battling it out at the MMUST grounds in the Quarterfinals to seal places in the Semis.
In the Challenge trophy quarter-finals Northern Suburbs defeated Vihiga Granites 38-12 in an exciting first match of the day, KCA University were handed a 24-00 defeat by Mbale RFC.

Bungoma managed to seal a 7-5 win over Stubbon Molo RFC and in the last match, Mean Machine proved to be porous in defence as they were handed a 26-00 defeat by Administration Police Warriors.
In the Main Cup quarter-finals, Zetech University managed a 22-5 victory over Shamberere TTI while TUM Marines handed Homabay RFC a 24-00 defeat, Kabarak University beat NYS Spades 17-00 and in the last match, Sigalagala RFC won 14-7 over Embu RFC.

Following the matches, the fifth-place semis will see Shamberere take on Homabay RFC while NYS Spades will tackle Embu RFC.
In the Cup semis, Zetech Oaks will be up against fellow newly promoted Championship side TUM Marines as Kabarak face Kakamega County-based Sigalagala.
