The Nyanza Region 7s Rugby games were interrupted at the semi-final phase at Cardinal Otunga High School Mosocho as chaos on the football field led to the abandonment of the rugby semi-finals.
Defending champions St. Mary’s Yala were leading in the final stages of the first semi-final against Kisii School.

The fate of the match will now be determined on Saturday by the organizers. Holders Yala had knocked out Maseno School following a 19-0 win at the quarterfinal stage to reach the semis.
Three tries were enough for Yala to beat Maseno in what was a repeat of last year’s final.
