The Kenya U20 rugby team has revealed its lineup ahead of the highly anticipated World u20 Trophy match against Uruguay set for Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
The team, known as Chipu, will face off against their South American counterparts in a crucial encounter at Edinburgh Rugby Stadium in Edinburgh.
Props Darrell Oluoch, Wycliffe Ogutu and hooker Bramwel Anekea start in the front row, while locks Eugine Etale and Clein Okumbi partner in the second row.

In the back row, skipper Edmond Omondi and Andycole Omolo will be tasked with breaking down Uruguay’s offensive plays and supporting the backline.

Iddo Kuta starts at number eight. Scrum-half Patrick Wainaina and fly-half Jackson Siketa start together once again and will be the link between the forwards and the backs.

The centre pairing will have Philip Okeyo and Michael Wamalwa. On the wings Brian Kiptanui and Kipchirchir Bett start alongside Full-back James Olela.
