Kisii School’s speedster, Jan Paulsen, emerged as the standout performer in the recently concluded Kisii County 7s games, clinching the Top Try Scorer title with an impressive tally of 19 tries across five matches.

The Most Valuable Player award went to Morgan Ochiel after an impressive display that saw Kisii School dominance post covid continue.
Under the coaching of Lee Arstone, Kisii School showcased dominance throughout the tournament, culminating in a resounding 31-0 victory over Cardinal Otunga in the final match held last Friday.
The comprehensive win saw Kisii School retain the championship they had secured in the previous season.
In the final showdown, Chrispin Ochieng led the scoring with a brace of tries, supported by contributions from Paulsen, Morgan Ochiel, and Beijil Ochieng, sealing their victory with a strong offensive display.

Throughout the competition, Kisii School exhibited formidable form, routing opponents with impressive margins. They cruised past Gereso 38-0 in the semifinals and overwhelmed Sameta 46-0 in the quarterfinals, highlighting their dominance on the field.
The team’s exceptional performance in the group stage set the tone for their campaign, starting with a commanding 51-0 win over Moi Gesusu and following it up with a 47-14 victory against Kerongori.
In total, Kisii School amassed an impressive 213 points throughout the tournament, averaging 42.6 points per match, while conceding only 19 points in just two matches, demonstrating their defensive prowess.
Looking ahead, Kisii School aims to progress to the Nyanza Region and secure a spot in the National tournament, slated to be hosted by Kisii School later this term.
