The Prinsloo 7s Pools have been released ahead of the tournament slated for Nakuru Athletics Club on 6-5 August 2023.
The Prinsloo will mark the resumption of the National 7s Circuit which took a break to pave way for the World Rugby U20 Trophy which concluded on Sunday.
Prinsloo 7s Pool A
National 7s Circuit log leaders and Driftwood 7s champions, Kabras RFC, headline pool A. Kabras have been in exceptional form making back-to-back final appearances and will face a familiar foe in Kisumu RFC, as the two teams have clashed numerous times before. Adding more spice to Pool A are Homeboyz RFC and Western Bulls.
The defending champions, Menengai Oilers, find themselves in a tricky Pool B. Having claimed the title in the previous edition of the Prinsloo 7s, Menengai Oilers will be keen to shine again but face Nondies and home town rivals Nakuru RFC in their pool once again this season. Catholic Monks are also in the pool.
Pool C has KCB Rugby, currently second on the National 7s Circuit standings, Kenya Harlequin, MMUST Rugby and Blak Blad.
Pool D features Strathmore Leos, Mwamba RFC, commonly known as “Kulabu,” and varsity side Daystar Falcons and Zetech Oaks complete the pool.
