25 teams have confirmed their participation in the South Coast Five Aside Beach Touch Tournament, slated for 14-16 July 2023 in Diani.
Some the teams that have confirmed their attendance include Karen Crusaders, Dik Trille, Karen Chiefs, Weekend Warriors, Titanium Tacklers, The Sea Lions, Mineral Mavericks, The Cave Pirates,SBH
Ball Grabbers and Mombasa RFC.
South Coast Five Aside
Diani Transport Smooth Service, Le Gauloise 1, Le Gauloise 2, Kentaste and NCBA Spartans will also be part of the tournament.
Kentaste, coconut oil company based in ukunda have come on board as sponsors. The Tournament Organizer Kevin Amiani said:
“As of now preparations are going on well we have received big interest from teams
Around 40 teams . So fare 25 teams have confirmed for the tournament. We are now calling upon sponsor to come on board and partner with us,” he said.
Now in its 12th edition, the tournament has has gained a reputation as a high-profile occasion that generates considerable interest and excitement within the community.
Tournament schedule
The games will kick off on Friday night and culminate in the finals on Sunday afternoon. The Safari Beach Hotel in Diani will provide an idyllic backdrop for the tournament, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for players and spectators alike.
