The stage is set for an epic showdown between unbeaten Kisii School and Nduru Boys in the Kisii County Schools Rugby 15s final, which will take place at Kisii School on Saturday 25 March at 10:00 AM.
Kisii School dominated their semifinal match against Igonga Boys, with outside centre John Paul Obiri opening the scoring before hooker Joseph Gitoi landed two successive tries off the mauls.
Brian Kioge and Edwin Omari later added a try each, bringing the final score to 33-0. The team had earlier beaten Cardinal Otunga Mosocho, Nyamagwa Boys, and Rioma High in the group stage to reach the semifinals.
Meanwhile, Nduru Boys have also been on an unbeaten run, defeating Kerongorori, Igonga, and Nyabisase Boys to reach the semis. In their semifinal match against Cardinal Otunga, they brushed aside their opponents with a score of 32-0, setting up a thrilling final against Kisii School.
With both teams in fine form and determined to emerge victorious, rugby fans can expect a fiercely competitive match with plenty of action and drama. T
