The pools for the upcoming Hong Kong 7s matches have been announced ahead of the tournament set for 31 March- 2 April in 2023.
In Pool A, the Vancouver 7s champions, Argentina, will face off against Fiji, Samoa, and Canada. Argentina will be looking to continue with their momentum, while Fiji will be eyeing first Cup title this season. Samoa and Canada will also be eager to make their mark and show what they are capable of in this highly competitive pool.
Pool B consists of France, Great Britain, Uruguay, and Hong Kong. France, who rose to third place in the World 7s Series standings after their recent performance in Vancouver, will be looking to build on their success and come out on top in this pool. Great Britain, made up of players from England, Scotland, and Wales, will be looking to put their best foot forward and compete with the top teams. Uruguay and Hong Kong will also be looking to upset the bigger teams.
In Pool C, we have the World 7s Series holders, Australia, who will be looking rise further on the log as they face the likes of the USA, Spain, and Japan.
Finally, Pool D will feature Ireland, World 7s Series leaders, New Zealand, Kenya 7s and South Africa,
