Heathens have been crowned the 2021/22 Uganda Premiership Champions after finishing top of the log.
Heathens had clinched the Premiership title at Kyadondo Rugby Club last Saturday with a game to spare. Despite having already won the title, they sealed off the season with 22-10 over KOBS on the final day of the season to win the title unbeaten.

It’s their 16th Premiership title and they walked to a guard of honor before the match. Okeny Nobert scored the opening try of the match for a 5-3 lead.
Innocent Gwokto grabbed the second try before Chris Lubanga added the extras for a 12-3 lead. The teams headed to the break with Heathens leading 17-3. It was after George Scott Oluoch crossed over for the third try and final try of the half.
In the final half, Ucu Romano then scored their lone try of the second half with his try coming off a maul. Kobs got seven points in the half but could not stop the Champions.
Heathens are unbeaten and end the season with 85 points out of the possible 90 points.Β Outgoing champions KOBS finish third on the log.
